Volume pricing
How DomainCare's per-domain volume pricing works — bands, EUR/USD rates, annual discount, and the band-cliff mechanic.
Volume pricing
DomainCare charges per domain. The more domains you track, the lower the per-domain rate. All domains in your account move to the lower rate when you cross a band threshold — you never pay the higher rate on older domains while paying less for newer ones.
Volume bands
| Domains | USD / domain / mo | EUR / domain / mo |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | $8.99 | €7.99 |
| 2–5 | $5.99 | €5.49 |
| 6–20 | $3.49 | €2.99 |
| 21–50 | $2.49 | €2.19 |
| 51–100 | $1.49 | €1.29 |
| 101+ | Enterprise — contact sales | — |
All prices are per domain per month, billed at the qualifying band for your total domain count.
Example: You track 6 domains. Your rate is $3.49/domain/mo, so your monthly bill is $20.94. If you were tracking 5 domains at $5.99/domain/mo and add a 6th, the rate drops to $3.49 for all 6 — a saving of $1.50/domain/mo across your whole account.
Annual billing
Choose annual billing at checkout to save 20% on your total bill. Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year.
Annual per-domain price = monthly_per_domain × 0.8 × 12
Example: 6 domains on annual billing in USD = $3.49 × 0.8 × 12 × 6 = $200.93/year instead of $251.28 on monthly.
You can switch between monthly and annual by visiting Settings → Billing.
Currency
DomainCare detects your country from your IP address before the pricing page renders and shows EUR for EU visitors, USD for everyone else. Your currency is locked at the time of your first Stripe checkout and cannot be changed after the first payment.
The band-cliff mechanic
When you are close to the next lower band, DomainCare shows you a nudge in the billing page:
"Add 1 more domain and the rate drops to $X.XX/domain for all your domains — saving $Y/mo."
Crossing the threshold drops the rate for your entire account immediately (prorated for the remainder of the billing cycle on monthly plans, Stripe handles the proration automatically).
Increasing your domain count
Go to Settings → Billing and use the domain count picker to increase your quantity. Stripe charges the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing cycle.
Decreasing your domain count
To reduce your domain count:
- Go to Settings → Billing and enter the new lower quantity.
- DomainCare shows you a checklist of your active domains — you pick which ones to remove.
- After you delete the selected domains to bring the total to or below the new quantity, the subscription updates.
- The new lower rate takes effect at the next billing cycle (Stripe standard behavior — no proration on decreases).
You choose which domains to remove. DomainCare never auto-deletes domains.
Enterprise (101+ domains)
Accounts with more than 100 domains or requiring a custom SLA contact sales at sales@domaincare.io. The self-serve checkout blocks quantities above 100.

Common questions
What if I'm between bands? The band is determined by your total active domain count. If you have 6 domains, you pay the 6–20 rate for all 6.
Do paused domains count toward my limit? Paused domains still occupy a slot. To free a slot, delete the domain.
Can I mix monthly and annual domains? No. Your entire subscription is either monthly or annual.
